"description":"This dynamic vector map service provides a map-sheet grid at a nominal scale of 1:5,000 covering the Poloniny\u2013Bieszczady cross-border study area. Each map sheet represents an area of 2.5 × 2.0 km and is used as a spatial indexing and tiling framework within the RETROCHANGE project. The grid is used to subdivide, mosaic, and export georeferenced historical KH-9 HEXAGON satellite imagery into individual GeoTIFF files with consistent spatial extent and naming. Each polygon contains a unique map-sheet identifier used to identify and manage the corresponding raster tile. The grid supports reproducible raster processing, data management, visualization, and distribution of historical satellite imagery across the cross-border study area.
